How do we remain or become integrated into our ancestral community/ies? How do we create new home community/ies? How do we engage in decolonization movements fully presenting our gender variant selves? How do we grieve the loss of "home" while celebrating the creation of new home communities? How can we transform and/or reclaim our cultural roles for the benefit of the health of our communities? How do we address issues such as nation, homeland, culture, and diaspora as gender variant people? This workshop will attempt to address these issues and others through interactive theatre and discussion. A people of colour/mixed-race/nonwhite only space.<br /><br /><strong>Registration deadline has passed.
